Most mascara today can do both, meaning it can add volume as well as lengthen the eyelashes which is great for women who have short and almost invisible eye lashes.

4. Eye liner. This is another type of make up for the eyes. Add definition to your eyes by lining your upper and lower lids with an eye liner. Eye liners come in different colors but brown and black eyeliners are commonly used.

5. Blush on. The blush on is typically used on the cheeks either to enhance the cheek bones or create a fresh looking face. This type of makeup comes in different shades so it is best that you pick the color that matches your skin tone. This make up makes you look fresh; great for those women who have very light or pales skin tones.

6. Lipstick. What better way to finish up than by adding a dab of color to your lips. And the best way to do that is to add lipstick. The lipstick is another type of makeup and it is applied exclusively to your lips. Like the blush on, the lipstick also comes in various shades ranging from very light to very bright colors. So when buying a lipstick, pick something that will more or less match with your skin tone.

There is a systematic approach to applying makeup and it would be hard to complete a look if one of those cosmetics mentioned is missing. Whatever make up you use, always consider your skin tone.
